Sensorimotor Integration and Machine Learning Core

Dr. Jacqueline Hebert

is Associate Professor in the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, and Associate Research Chair in Clinical Rehabilitation in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. Her research team studies advanced motor control and sensory feedback systems for upper limb myoelectric devices, under a group of projects known as “Bionic Limbs for Improved Natural Control” or “BLINC”, an interdisciplinary lab where medical, science, and engineering researchers collaborate to improve the control and performance of robotic prostheses. Research interests also include using technology to quantify and improve outcomes following limb amputation. Dr. Hebert is also the Medical Lead for the Adult Amputee Program at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. (Info on website:, including outreach activities)
